Pros

It's a company that focuses on people, but it depends a lot on the management and leadership. There are opportunities for growth as long as you are willing to put in a lot of work and can excel in a sink or swim environment.

Cons

Expect to put in long hours and do not expect to receive very much training if you are in a management role.

Treated Poorly

Pros

They pay great and they have a lot of overtime available

Cons

You're ALWAYS under a microscope. All u see is a camera lit up in your face as u driving. It is a LOT of Favoritism and Family there. They will fire some for one thing but if its friends or family they can do the same thing plus and they STILL have their job. They training is REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, trainers yelling at you and talking to you any kind of way. They're Really Rude. There is NO Part time and Everyone has to work at least one 12 hour shift and you have to choose whatever schedule they have, that's ALL over the place (they're not going to tell you that until after your 2 weeks training) The way their schedules are, you will LITERALLY have NO LIFE

Great Investment

Pros

Family oriented environment, nice and professional supervisors, and trainers. Benefits, 401k, Union membership, dental, etc. are great. With the CDL training, you can go far in the transportation industry, especially with Transdev, anywhere in the world.

Cons

Schedule can be difficult if you have a younger-aged family. But if you have support, the sky is the limit. Schedule can be difficult to find time to eat during the day. You have to manage your time, efficiently, and know yourself well.

Pros

A check Hour lunch break

Cons

Constant verbal abuse from clients that managers enable QA looking to punish agents, will fail your call for getting 1 word wrong Constantly shifting rules & priorities Required to bid on shifts but management seemed to have little idea how a bid works Subpar training Managers treat you like a kid, micromanagement to the extreme Lied to about cash incentives for overtime work Wasn't paid the amount stated in the job description or offer letter Mandatory union that collects fees & doesn't advocate for you

Pros

Union job, decent wage, paid training, thorough training, helped through the process of getting a Class B CDL. The work is incredibly fulfilling.

Cons

Accommodation process felt hostile and was ultimately ineffective. Pay was still too low to live close to work without roommates, though this is more a problem with Lawrence landlords than anything else.
