Pros

Size and strength if they figure out what to do with it

Cons

Almost everything, since management and the company as a whole, is run so poorly. The FDA is still pounding on Healthcare and RIFTS are common. They haven't released Spect or CT products from the FDA since 2011... yea 2011. The new CT is just a rebranded Brilliance.

Pros

Good pay, good group of people working in associate/specialist roles

Cons

Horrible Frontline management, from Director down to Supervisor. Very much a "gotcha" type of environment; overly concerned with matrix/numbers, not the input, well-being of employees. No such thing as coaching.

Hello, we're glad to hear that you found a great group of people to work with. We do regret hearing that your experience with management has not been a positive one though. We would like to suggest you talk to your HR representative about this. And thank you for your feedback on all counts and for all the work your're doing for us.

Pros

Once upon a time this was an awesome company to work for. And I was proud of being part of Philips. I worked for the company many years. I was very good at my job and had a wonderful relationship with the clients. But its all gone downhill with upper managements erratic and constantly contradictory decisions. The company has good benefits. That's about it.

Cons

- Moving jobs to Bangalore and dissolving all North American positions in the Healthcare sector. They believe with the ability to have less labor costs they will still have great support. - Have no respect for clients and do not intend to tell them that support will be centralized in Bangalore. One day they will call in and there will only be Indian techs answering. - Letting good engineers go and replacing with engineers who don't even know basic Windows environment. -They change directors and management like they change their underwear. - Have NO idea how to truly run engineering support models - Rather pay for consultants than actually check their own emplyees resume and see there are former consultant and engineers with more knowledge than any consultant they would be able to hire - No care for employees work life balance. The One Philips motto is just that. Talk. All the public press about the company being employee centric is not true. And even though they say there is no retaliation for the ethics line, there is They have dissolved so many teams and offices to move the work to India, they will soon see it will be a train wreck. - Just like GE, who thought moving all their support to India was the best thing ever, but now they've moved it all back. Spending even more money because they thought they were going to save money by not paying employees so much.
