Aéro Apéro #15 – What a night in Hamburg! ✈️ We came together at the ZAL Center of Applied Aeronautical Research to dive into how MODSIM is reshaping aerospace innovation. A special shout-out to Lucas Lindner from HORYZN, who wowed us with the story of the Kolibri drone - a life-saving UAV that shows just how far vision and engineering can go. Some moments that stood out: 🔹 Seeing how MODSIM speeds up design iterations while keeping costs in check 🔹 Understanding the impact of early simulation on certification processes 🔹 Getting a glimpse of the journey from a 30kg Kolibri prototype to a 400kg autonomous air-rescue UAV But the real highlight? The buzzing conversations, new connections, and exchange of bold ideas that filled the evening. We can’t wait to continue this journey with you at Aéro Apéro #16 in October! 💙
The Railway Forum 2025 has come to an end – but the journey of digital rail transformation continues! 🚆 Digitalization means breaking old patterns, overcoming silos, and driving real progress through holistic collaboration. We look back on exciting discussions, inspiring presentations, and one clear takeaway: the railway industry can benefit enormously from the experiences of other sectors such as automotive and aerospace. A special highlight for us: the visit of the Women in Mobility (WiM) network at our booth. 🙌 There, Taherah Kuhl and Christian Donner showcased the key role of Virtual Twins in rail infrastructure – bringing together data from multiple sources and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with the same knowledge base.
