Amazing place to learn and grow your career!
Pros
- Background - I worked here as a manager for almost 4 years (until mid 2016) - Most of the people that work there are great to work with - motivated, smart, full of ideas, networking, International - You can start from scratch in any field and still pretty much become an expert within few years here. The learning curve is steep and the management always encourages / supports you to learn more. - The office space is cool - free food stuff, flexibility in terms of work space - has a start up feel to it - HR team does a very good job as compared to what I see in other big companies - very warm and easy to talk to, very active in terms of implementing new processes for employees (eg: increase in yearly holidays, special leaves provision, new feedback rounds, exciting events for team activities, etc) - Co-founders are smart and friendly. You can go talk to them about solving any problem & they will work on it with you. Not afraid to share their knowledge & you will definitely learn something from them. - Depending on your boss & role, you can negotiate for home office options, flexible work hours, work from another location, etc. I also heard that they are moving into a new bigger office in near future.
Cons
- It is very easy to get absorbed by work here (as there is a lot to learn & do). So if you are looking for a 9 to 5 job with compensation for extra hours, this might not be a right option for you. This varies from role to role. - Salaries are very competitive for interns & for someone with less than 3-5 years experience. If you have more than 5 years of experience, you might want to negotiate for a deserving salary. - Things change constantly here. So you will need to keep up with the change of goals, strategies, processes. For some people, this can be too much to handle.
