Pros

Not speaking to the organization I am in but to the company. The benefits are great at Philips, everything from paying your gym fees to a ton of time off. Sick leave is also generous. There are managers that exist at Philips that truly care about their employee's and want you to grow within the company but as a person too.

Cons

Speaking to the organization and not about the company. It is terrible. It is an abusive place to work with management that loves to micro-manage everything possible. I am not kidding I was asked to show how I have my email inbox set up. I would stay away from this job, I am actually trying to leave it as we speak. Work at Philips but never, ever take this job. They will sell you on how great it is and how "you'll run your own region" but they spend so much time hovering over that you don't run it at all. I have had some bad jobs in my life but this one takes the cake. The last one I would note, you have a ton of vacation at Philips but the management that runs this role basically won't allow you to use it sighting that "they cannot have more than two employees off a day" when there are 52 people split between two supervisors. Think about how many people take days off around national holidays... good luck because you have to compete with your co-workers now to even use that vacation.

Pros

Nothing Really. If you do not have your own identity, you may try to use its brand to some extent. 9 months Maternity leave. Paternity leave is also fine.

Cons

1. Being a health-care organization, it never give importance to its employee's health. 2. HR team/ TA team are totally misrepresenting and unqualified. 3. While hiring, they tell all the lies about the Job Title, Team, Responsibilities, Salary, etc. Once you join, everything will be different and nobody will redress your problems. 4. HR managers are completely gross negligent a work. They collude with Managers and oppress the people who are facing problems. There is no integrity at all. 5. Not at all a place for professionals like CA, CS, CWA etc. These TA teams are misrepresenting the professional bodies also by portraying as Manufacturing companies. But, In reality, they will ask you to do back end accounting work. 6. Managers are unqualified and donno how to handle people. 7. Attrition rate is very high due to misrepresentations. 8. The main reason for this behaviour is CEO, CFO and other Executive management is looking into Chennai GBS and the local leads are taking undue advantage of that. 9. They will torture you in Notice Period to hell.

Pros

1. Reputed Name 2. Work Life Balance can be okay sometimes 3. Healthcare Industry Hardly anything else could be appreciated

Cons

1. Hostile situation for Employee in the company and especially once you put down your paper. Management takes it personally. 2. Some of the worst compensation policies in the current IT Industry, 3. Communication is completely zero. Neither Managers nor HR will inform the important guidelines or decisions 4. Higher or even immediate Management is hardly reachable; you can hardly set 1:1 meetings as they are really not approachable. 5. Even after extending and slogging, hard work is rarely acknowledged and appreciated.
