Pros

Informal dress code. You can ignore loud ignorant coworkers while wearing headphones. I do not have twenty words for company pros.

Cons

Zero organization. Zero management. Zero HR Support. Harassment allowed. Did I mention Philips is moving 800 positions to nashville TN in the next two years?

Hello, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We regret that working with us made you feel this way. Harassment is definitely not something we allow, so if you had any experiences with this, we’d like to advise you to get in touch with your manager.

Pros

I've loved working for Philips. They really convey the feeling that you're working WITH someone and not FOR someone. But with the news bestowed on us a couple of weeks ago, my employment at Philips will be ending in less than 2 years.

Cons

We've just received word that the company hub is moving to Nashville, TN. We have the option of leaving and taking severance in the beginning of 2019 or reapplying for our current jobs in Tennessee....at a pay scale commensurate with that region of the country.

Pros

Was a great Dutch company in 2006-2010, Culture was exceptional, diversity valued. 2010 things changed, It was common to see longevity of those seasoned employees who grew with company retire with the company. MBAs was the degree to have and it had great placement throughout the Organization. Money was great over 6 figures for Senior Management role. Simplicity Points rewarding for efforts. Gym and Cafeteria as awesome.

Cons

2010 things changed in the Organization. Quality Compliance a Nightmare, Poor documentation, validation and verification, mmm questionable at best. Leadership changed like the clock on the wall and so did the experience that departed. No ownership from top management. Long hours, expectations, work until it gets done. Average hours 75 hours a week, that was the expectations, not dare leave or you be let go for not being a team player. Late nights, getting home early in the wee hours 1-2am just to wake back up and start at 8am. 2012 was even worse and followed with 2013, and 2014.
