Pros

For me, Lyreco is an amazing company to work for. Everyone is approachable and always happy to help. I have always had access to further support if required, working with industry experts, who care about doing the right thing at all times. With the introduction of: - Winston, our wellbeing office dog - The Very Lyreco Person Programme (an all expense paid trip abroad for high performing employees) - Strong CSR objectives and credentials (who doesn't want to work for a company that does so much good) - Cake Days (Our CEO bakes cakes for everyone to enjoy) - Lyreco Goodness - doing the right thing for our people, the planet and our communities - Lyreco for Education - supporting children in less fortunate countries get an education through building schools, providing facilities and improving teacher training. Lyreco has cultivated a great place to work with an incredible culture imbedded into everything we do.

Cons

As long as you're an ambitious, hard working, individual you will succeed at Lyreco.

Pros

There are some very hard working people on shop floor that give their best at all times and are true assets to the company.

Cons

At the moment we are truly understaffed, over worked and severely under paid! This is causing a perpetual issue when it comes to the understaffed part of things, people who love their jobs are being financially pushed out of the company. Work demands are high and getting worse as more people leave. Company benefits are few and are becoming less. There was no pay rise last year for all except key ops and I’m guessing upper management. There used to be far more communication and report between NDC staff and upper management but since COVID and a change in management structure that has completely stopped. Morale is at the lowest I have ever seen. There was talks with management recently about a short term retention scheme which seems to have amounted to nothing, most of us feel like it’s just lip service to keep the staff in their place through the Christmas period.
