      Pros

      Fun culture, good pay, good benefits.

      Cons

      Lightspeed can be a great company to work for but they tend to blindside their mid-management with April layoffs each year. In Lightspeed, if you get promoted to manager it could be a death sentence for your career at the end of the 4th quarter which makes it a mixed bag when promotions come around.

      Good perks and work-life balance but questionable management / job security

      Cons

      Yearly layoffs, job instability and restructuring, lower pay than average, C suite is scaring off good leaders and is out of touch with what issues individual contributors face.

      There doesn't seem to be a clear strategy to make Lightspeed products different or better than competitors Leaders in different verticals do not seem to communicate at all Lots of demotivated and miserable people
