Pros

I met some decent people.

Cons

My manger only wanted yes men around and if you weren’t stroking her miserable ego she hated you. She tried to fire me for no reason and put me on a PIP. I reported her to HR and after they talked to her she found other ways to torture me piling on more work than anyone can handle etc. Eventually I couldn’t work there unless I was gonna fight her so I quit. Then I heard she got promoted after i left smh. Many black employees had similar experiences during this time and were basically forced to quit. Managers and CEO are personally aware of these issues but refuse to do implicit bias training because they say it’s “reverse racism”

Pros

Had some of the best people, moments, memories, and work of my life. Used to be literally the best place to work and ranked 5th in the world. Helped propel my career and thought I was going to be a DocuSign lifer.

Cons

Turnover is crazy. Culture has changed. All budgets are cut. No stipends anymore. No holiday parties. 2 days required in office. New manager is insanely arrogant and micromanages. Manager tanked a large deal and client said he was horrible to work with and when I tired to save the deal they said they were 100% sure they were going with Docusign but the manager made it sound like they were the bad guy because they looked at other competition as their decision making process. They followed up a response to me that with they wished they worked with me in the whole process, but again, my manager went over my head and took over the deal and tanked it. I was #2 on my team and was put on a PIP that was cut short because it was his word vs mine, and ultimately cut. In the same timeframe 5 other colleagues in my org who have been there for years jumped ship. News to broke out a week later that a private equity firm is about to buy out Docusign. This is a sinking ship. What used to be. They’ve lost all their personality and everything that made them special. People don’t come first anymore.

Pros

- Great people - Good products - Ongoing effort and investment to improve tech - Okay WLB depending on the team - Okay benefits for those that haven't been stripped away

Cons

Very poor leaderships. DocuSign has changed so much over the last year that it is no longer the same company. New leaders have come in and have made it abundantly clear that they couldn't care less about employees. Theres no transparency and our new executives are rampant with gaslighting. - Recently laid off around 700 people and then had the audacity to follow up with an all hands where they bragged about how much money we have as a company. - Removed health premium benefit with no communication or justification - Removed company closure week for the holiday season, a benefit that started with COVID and was outlined by our previous leadership very clearly as one to stick around.
