Pros

Only a handful of good working colleagues. This is the only thing i can think of.

Cons

The managers are not up to standard in the UP dept. He has no idea how to manage, no sales background, no technical background. no management background. The management team loves to play politics, create conflicts among colleagues, they will only promote staff that are their favorites. they love bootlickers. The managers from UP show no respect for their salespeople and technicians. They only want to get sales figures and show to the top management. Daikin is the first company I heard of, their sales conversion rate has never been more than 30%, and the manager will STOP salespeople from processing PO when they achieve the monthly sales figure! I wonder what kind of managers is that. There are companies out there! This is one company I would said JOIN AT YOUR OWN RISK or if you are looking for retirement.... because they even hire chef to do sales.

Pros

Good renumeration package, that's all

Cons

Management is full of yes men who only want to please HQ and top management while disregarding the opinions of own staff. They rather have employees they can control like puppets. Upper management is full of grand ideas to grow business, but middle management only want to collect paychecks and bonuses, and are way too complacent in the brand name. Typical Japanese company with strict hierarchy, and this is not for everyone. As with this kind of company people who bootlick will have their careers prioritized over those who don't. Do expect a lot of "retiring snakes" who will do everything to hog limelight and shift blame at first opportunity. WFH is nonexistent, only when you get COVID then you get a few days at home. TL;DR: avoid like the plague if you genuinely want to grow your career

Pros

Good colleagues and payout last time.

Cons

- Worst and toxic environment. - A lot of unnecessary meeting. Always like to use one new report to cover another report. Endless of meeting.... - Management had no sense of direction. Most managers are not capable at all and scare to speak the true to higher management. Perhaps, higher management also not capable too. - Manager always expected staffs to work OT. But they will not approach their employee to stay late. They will find some ways to make them feel guilty to end work on time. Eg: standard working hours a day is 830-6pm. If staff leaving at 7pm, direct superior will ask other colleague why she or he leave so early. This will send a signal to other colleague that 7pm is consider leaving work too early. - Hardworking staffs will always keep getting more job each day. Those whom slack, will continue to slack and life will be much better each day than those whom work hard. - Management protrude strong sentiment to all the staffs that they dislike staffs to wfh. Another toxic method to pressure staffs to wfo even during high spreading covid period last time. - Overall, look at the large numbers of bad review toward this company. You will know whether you want to stake your future in this company.
