Plenty of work if youre fine with doing whatever. Can expense basically whatever you need for a project.

Cons

Will hire you for a job without telling you that there will be a large travel expectation. Will put your billability ahead of your mental health and work life balance, Arcadis does not do a good job of taking care of its people.

Pros

The group I work in is strong and communicative. The benefits are great. With a little initiative, there is a great variety of projects to work on. The activity bases workplace office arrangement make it very easy to work from home, or anywhere. Raises and bonuses at least once per year.

Cons

Project sharing across business lines is scarce. Constant emphasis on billability, but that's consulting. Performance reviews are a joke and based only on billable hours. Haven't had a legitimate career goal since I started. Not always easy to understand what the big picture is regarding a client or project - work can be compartmental at times.

ARCADIS touts their belief in ethics and training, but the fact is this is a good sounding lie as most of the pitches delivered from this company are. You will quickly experience a gross lack of professionalism, concern or straightforward answers. This is a company that is selling a service they can not deliver. People are in exodus. But management continues to sell, sell sell and focus on the next big promotion or bonus. Just another top heavy, cost cutting corporation run by self absorbed sociopaths.
