Terrible management

Pros

There are plenty of untapped challenges that would be exciting to tackle if management weren’t so awful to deal with

Cons

Terrible product management, the moment you take a risk or raise real challenges, they make you the scapegoat to protect their own reputation.

Truly Awful

Pros

Basic, Car, Fuel…..That’s it. £25,500-£30,000 depending on which pay plan. Read the small print.

Cons

Long hours. Hours on the road. 2 hours plus travel to an appointment is not unusual. Bonuses are frequently not paid. Sackings or redundancies are now the norm. The company is losing money, so nil recruitment and more redundancies are due. The working atmosphere is Dickensian at best. The communication is appalling, both to staff and customers.

Stay well clear

Pros

Absolutely none. Unless you live in close proximity to Manchester & are on the inner circle of the senior Manchester based management.

Cons

Working there feels like being dropped into a viper pit where every step has to be calculated and every word second-guessed. Backstabbing isn’t an exception, it’s the default survival strategy and moral shortcuts are so routine they barely register anymore. Leadership lurches from one half-baked idea to the next, while the people making the loudest decisions seem to understand the least, creating a constant fog of confusion and rework. When things inevitably go wrong, accountability never travels upward; instead, blame ricochets through the staff, landing on whoever is closest and least protected. There’s no clear direction, no shared purpose, just a tense, exhausting, chaotic atmosphere where knowledge is scarce, trust is nonexistent, and everyone is too busy watching their back to do good work.
