I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Baltimore, MD) in Feb 2015
Interview
5 people interviewed. It was a friendly process with a lot of technical questions. Challenging but a bit of studying helps. Study well and be prepared to smile. Listen to the advice of the recruiter
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
The interview process at LM was very professional. They covered travel, hotel, transportation and other related expenses.
The morning of the interview, the candidates were split up into different groups with some going to interview, and others going to take a tour of the facilities (the fun part!). The interview itself was one-on-one with a hiring manager and had STAR-formatted behavioral questions. After the interview and tour, we were provided lunch, and then we were free to go. The whole process lasted around four hours.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2015
Interview
I have applied 8 times and I have only heard back once by email asking if I was still interested in position. The recruiter was interested in more in wages than what my skills were. I have not heard back since. Not sure what went wrong but it would be nice if they would respond regardless of whether or not your application interests them. Receiving feedback can be a good thing, it can give you insight on what to work on to improve your chances of getting the position you seek. I'll keep trying.
