I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Washington, DC) in Jul 2009
Interview
I was fortunate enough to have an inside contact in the company. My friend passed along my resume to one of the directors in the company. From there, he sent out my resume to a number of managers. My interview was very smooth. I talked to three managers all which had the same basic questions regarding my prior skills and how they could relate to the future job. I found everything very professional.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Oct 2010
Interview
After talking to the Lockheed Martin recruiters at my university's career fair, I received an on-campus interview. The interview consisted of your normal behavior questions, and talking about your previous work/intern experiences. After about two weeks, I was invited to the next round of interviews at their Crystal City, VA location. That interview consisted of three individual interviews that lasted about 15-20 minutes each. Overall the interview process was very laid back, and enjoyable. They were more concerned about your skill sets and what you could bring to the company, rather than if you could be boxed into a certain category like most behavior interviews do.
