I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England)
Interview
I had to complete an online assessment which had situational judgment questions regarding common work-place scenarios that you might encounter. After around 2 weeks, I received an email stating that I have to complete a video application
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Your name and preferred store location?
What attracts you about working for Aldi?
What skills can you bring from your previous work experience?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (London, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
Clear, straightforward, all online. First step of the application process included doing aptitude tests online. Passed that and got told to do a video application test next as the second stage of the process. Found that 30-60 seconds of answering the questions were too short and felt that I was either rushing or got cut off. Passed that though and now going to partake a phone interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ALDI (Northampton, England)
Interview
Recruitment event with an assistant store manager asking quick questions back and forth about my availability, competency (heavy lifting, till speed...) and some experience, although this was not necessary.
They were polite and informative about the type of work ethic and culture that Aldi has.
