I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (London, England) in Jul 2020
Interview
Clear, straightforward, all online. First step of the application process included doing aptitude tests online. Passed that and got told to do a video application test next as the second stage of the process. Found that 30-60 seconds of answering the questions were too short and felt that I was either rushing or got cut off. Passed that though and now going to partake a phone interview.
Application online , video interview questions, in store interview, manager was cold and kept describing the job as hard that was available , got a no response next day , as manager described people staying only 4 weeks due to work to hard , you think he takes on older mature person, his loss for reliability staff
Was an online interview they asked why I want to work for aldi why do I think I’d be a good fit and what’s a time you delivered excellent customer service

Question 1
What’s a time you delivered excellent customer service
Pleasant and honest. Interview was held a hotel conference space in an open day format. Prospective workers were called in batches in a sort of ‘speed dating’ format. Interviewers were actual assistant store managers and as such were able to provide relevant insight into the role.
