Crafting her career. A career path at Henkel has more than just one track. Taking the fast lane. María started her journey at Henkel in the Accelerated Development Trainee program in the LATAM region. This gave her the chance to work in different areas and craft her career within the Adhesive Technologies business. Now, she’s a Key Account Manager whose job is all about finding new opportunities for growth.
A great place to work. Henkel was named Top Employer Germany for the 13th and Top Employer China for the 6th consecutive year. This global certification program honors excellent working conditions based on an independent review of talent strategy, onboarding, training and development, leadership development, and corporate culture. Congratulations to both teams!
A new milestone in sustainable packaging. Henkel has now launched almost 700 million bottles made entirely of recycled plastics for Laundry & Home Care products in Europe. The recycled material comes – amongst other places – from Henkel’s partnership with the Plastic Bank. It has an almost 80 percent lower CO2 footprint compared to virgin plastic and contributes to a circular economy.
Standing up for sustainability. In the 2021 edition of the ‘Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World’, Henkel ranked 3rd among personal product companies and 88th in the overall assessment of more than 8,000 major global corporations. This shows once again how firmly sustainability has become anchored within Henkel's corporate culture.
Celebrating a decade of giving. The Fritz Henkel Stiftung recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Since 2011, it’s supported projects across the globe aimed at promoting equal opportunities and education. To date, it’s provided donations totaling around 30 million euros that have benefited almost 3.5 million people.
Investing in each other. The #LearnForGood campaign rewards Henkel employees for digital upskilling. Each time they complete a self-development course, they’re awarded points. Once 15,000 points are reached, a special donation will be made to the “Teach for All” network, which provides children with vital digital education resources.
