      Growth focused in the expense of culture and people

      - A truly international environment - Breakfast, fruits, yogurt provided - An effort to establish company values and structure (but it's slow coming) - Generally nice people - Politics can be challenged

      Cons

      - Lacking any initiative to drive good culture - Transparency is difficult to attain, therefore a sense of ownership of the product is also difficult to cultivate - Lacking any seniority and the ability to properly learn or be mentored by others - Poor vision and mission for the product and company overall. (e.g. We are told that we give value to our white label partners by saving jobs of journalists BUT to the expense of users who experience bad/misleading content through our platform. In the last 6 months prior to my last day, there was no strategy to address the quality of the content we provide to these users who are the main drivers of our revenue. )

      - Plenty of space for growth

      Cons

      - They had multiple firing waves where they fired over 20 people - Bad salary - Bad communication and it often seems that they are hiding something - Bro culture within the management

      Pros

      Very international with nice people. Start up environment. Good work life balance

      Cons

      Low pay that is frozen so that the company can buy other companies. Promotions are hard to get when they are well deserved. Pay for industry is uncompetitive. Some managers literally have no idea what they are doing.
