Pros

Great job if you absolutely cannot find anything else to make a dollar. Great if your lifes goal is to be a walmart slave.

Cons

Crappy Management dont give a damn about you. Work you like dogs, underpaid dogs. No praise on a job well done. Look for reasons to fire the ones who have been with the company the longest and are paid the best.

Pros

The Pros of working for wal-mart are very good. The benefits combined with the work that I do in conjunction with the pay are all excellent reasons to work for wal-mart. I am very pleased that I made the transition in my life to this company.

Cons

The Cons of wal-mart are similar to that of many corporations. One is that the company tries to do a certain amount of work with too few associates. There is a fine line between quality and quantity and many times quality is sacrificed because quantity or numbers is more important.

Pros

It is a challenging environment. The company is continually changing and refreshing itself. As a program, asset protection at wal-mart is one of the most aggressive amongst the big box stores.

Cons

The company will at times make horrible decisions and move in directions that are a bit rediculous at field level. The communication between upper managment and field level associates is a bit strained. It seems the company does not respect experience anymore and is hiring alot leadership positions from outside the company, no more promoting from within it seems.
