Pros

It was exciting to work with cutting edge technology along with some of the sharpest and brightest people I have ever worked with; and I have been in electronics over 30 years.

Cons

I did not always agree with some of the policies and actions regarding foreign investments while working at Texas Instruments.

Pros

Great work-life balance; smart and friendly colleagues. Because plans are not tightly roadmapped, lots of free range to be creative.

Cons

Slow career advancement. Lots of breaucrats in middle management, who spin and don't have great roadmaps for tackling market conditions. Reactive to market, not proactive.
