Pros

Overall this is a great company with lots of projects going on and it is fairly easy t move laterally, to shift departments and jobs. More so than at most other companies I have worked for.

Cons

There is a core leadership team mentality at TI. The leaders can not be questioned, contradicted, told they are wrong, or shown "another way" to do things. Basically you have to shift departments until you can find management you can live with.

Pros

Own manufacturing sites, processes and packaging, experienced teams, plenty internal promotion options, diverse teams and locations. Many different products and markets.

Cons

Constantly changing org structure, acquisitions and lay offs are frequent. Too much focus on methodology and processes at the expense of experienced engineers.

Pros

- Management gives you a lot of guidance, freedom, and trust. The Dallas campus is great and the people are really nice. Pay is relatively nice for an intern. Learn a lot about the semi-conductor industry.

Cons

- A lot of individual work. Not as much team work as expected. Not as great as developing new employees as expected either.
