Pros

The benefits were pretty good and the corporate offices are a nice place to work. Like their saying they expect more and the pay isn't really that great.

Cons

Target has no loyalty to it's employees and could care less about them.

Pros

Good as a first job/summer job to learn how to socialize better, interview for jobs better, etc. Also, getting retail experience was helpful in better understanding a big corporation's day-to-day operations, and how they run.

Cons

Although being a minimum/near-minimum wage job, locations with a lot of annual sales (top 5-10 nationally) push workers to unrealistic standards. Also, the softlines department had a high employee turnover rate due to many quitting (partly because of what I mentioned above).

Pros

-Pays decent -Nice team members -Mid-shift isn't too bad

Cons

-Stressful work -Closing is awful and demanding -Neglected to even train me; got mad at me for not being good on day 3 after no training... - Managers talk about employees behind their back - They don't tell you how to do anything until they're yelling at you for messing something up
