Pros

Good pay, friendly colleagues . Mehmeh

Cons

Management is the worst, they do not care a single bit of your wellbeing and mental health they just bully you to do things . No direction towards who is doing what and when. Hardly any staff meetings, had like two in a year. Felt so isolated working there. It felt like i was working with just my team members. The hours were so bad i took a gap year for uni to ensure i work a lot of hours but didnt get enough. The job itself is so boring and bland. Please avoid working here specially woodgreen and tottenham hale.

Pros

In all honesty, there are none. Avoid.

Cons

Full of posters espousing their 'values', how they welcome staff input, promote from within etc but this is the direct opposite of reality... they don't care about anything other than running hard-working colleagues into the ground with impossible targets. Even the most basic promotion (sales advisor to Team Leader) involves a ridiculous amount of work for very little financial gain which is completely eclipsed by a massive increase in workload and basically being a management stooge. Oh, and there's no time for the laughable assignments and workbooks... you do that on your own time to prove your commitment. Rude and aloof area / regional management... don't expect to be even acknowledged by these people if you are below Store Manager level. Want to be House of Fraser on a Poundland budget.

Pros

Diversity, co-workers and thats all.

Cons

Hire people to low contracts, then work them double. Furthermore, constrict their hours down to below or just on their contract at the drop of a hat. Progression is a popularity game and used to keep you working hard with no intentions of following through. Management guilt trip staff in order to have them work longer or out of their availability when its suits them. Management using personal situations as a weapon in order to rationalise their unprofessionalism. Intense pressure put on employees, especially if there is a visitor (to make management look better than they are). Management CONSISTENTLY gaslight employees. Management gossip about associates amongst themselves and with other associates. Unattainable expectations regarding dedication to the company. Management expect one to live breathe and die for the company, but will happily remind you how replaceable you are. Calling in sick will result in you being interrogated or accused of lying (even on your first time) and being guilted to the point of forcing yourself to attend work regardless of your condition due to fear of greater repercussions.
