      Pros

      Good graduate training covering both the financials of trading a business and the soft skills of influencing, leadership and feedback. Opportunity to take on responsibility at an early stage and travel within the UK/Europe depending on your department. Promotion comes relatively quickly if you play the game right.

      Cons

      Be aware that there is a 3 month probation period which is not a formality - there are graduates on every intake that don't make it. Limited career path unless you want to become a Buyer, with charm and chat often valued above true talent and some good people unfortunately not rewarded for their hard work.

      There are some nice people to work with.

      Cons

      My experience was in TK Maxx Trier, there is a kind of a " hidden racism" as the store manager is mostly making the foreigners leave by ending their contracts even if they work hard. I mean with " foreigners" " africains" " dark skinned" and arabic. The reasons for which he is ending the contracts obviously show his hatred and racism against "foreigners".
