Good Benefits, Good Salaries, but company relies way too much on outsourcing and now recently offshoring in Pune, India

Pros

Company does provide excellent benefits and salaries are excellent.

Cons

Way too much outsourcing/offshoring. Stockprice and Shareholder approval more important than employees. Long term job stability is in question, especially in the IT area. Employees are seen as costs by the company rather than as assets and resources.

Excellent Colleagues Management and staff come across as generally passion and believe in the importance and impact of their work of "feeding the world" Open and Collaborative culture

Cons

Difficult for progression for mid-level management. Lack of transparency. More dependent on your network and connections. Need to focus on helping the countries to do their jobs rather than meeting the needs of global stakeholders.

Political corporate busy work at its finest

Pros

Benefits are good. Advancement opportunities are good if you are willing to re-locate.

Cons

Very political. If you are not part of the inner circle, your life will be miserable. Senior management moves around, so in a lot of cases they are not experts in the field they are guiding. Constant change without good communication. Very corporate with a great deal of reporting requirements, which causes micro managing. No life balance.
