Pros

Family oriented and work/life balance conscious; HR always did what they could to accommodate me as an employee when I had family medical issues.

Cons

In-fighting and office politics; too much bureaucracy to muddle through so nothing happened quickly. Too much turn over in some of the key positions, which led to a feeling of instability for me at a lower level.

Pros

Employees are a great group of co-workers

Cons

Management! Airbus purchased the company but Satair Danish managers are still in charge. Danish managers behave as if Airbus does not exist. Airbus management behaves as if Danish managers do not exist. Employees are told to report to BOTH management teams who refuse to acknowledge each other. Sure they fly around the world meeting together, then return to their office and say "Ignore the other guy, do what I tell you" and their direction is completely contrary to each other. Employees are caught in the middle and the morale is awful. There is allegedly dedication to "culture". The present culture makes the Hatfields and McCoys look like best friends.

Pros

This was a great place to work prior to the Airbus acquisition minus the gossip problem.

Cons

The office personal has a major issue with gossiping. Upper management is aware of the issue yet does nothing to resolve it or take measures to prevent it. Their is also constant finger pointing rather than finding a solution. When Airbus purchased Satair, the employees were told things would get better. There was no benefit for Satair employees. What was once a family company feeling turned into a lot of unhappy employees. The management focused solely on numbers and not on retaining good employees. Turn over has been relatively high due to the fact employees are dissatisfied with overall company atmosphere.
