      Pros

      Very friendly environment, you will have a chance to learn a lot of stuffs - for any automobile or embedded developer though. Lots of training will be given to improve your skills. Very less chance for a computer software developer to excel.

      Cons

      Not the best place for software developer. Onsite opportunities are abundant but it still depends on your team(my team was not good in offering this). Team changes will be done without proper reasons.

      A mixed bag

      Pros

      Good work life balance with not very long working hours. Job security. Chance to work abroad. Brand name.

      Cons

      Pay isn't great but that's the story of the automotive domain. Peer group not great (its a mixed bag). But that depends on your expectation. Career growth, promotions in most cases is time dependent (like a govt. job) and not so much performance dependent.
