Pros

Employee benefits, Work Life balance, decent package

Cons

Think twice before joining Health care mobility team. They do not have any road map and manager is the worst manager I have ever worked for. To grow in his team you should do lot of politics and tricks like sending email on sundays and late nights and make him believe you do extra. He measures productivity by number of lines you code each day. He compares number of lines of code to bricks in constructing a wall and believes programming is like construction. In simple he has in built talent to motivate people to resign. In philips, Healthcare mobility team has highest attrition rate and management does nothing to this, only thing they do is arrange a skip level meeting which is good for nothing. Mobility manager is the benchmark for worst managers in Philips.

Pros

a global force, many bright thinkers

Cons

too much change. With little chance to digest the inertia set forth by one new direction, another one rolls out and the "real work cant even be seen given all the time and energy spent on the churn.

Pros

Office is in a nice location when it's sunny If you are a HK local, this place may be better for you.

Cons

There is a high turn over, and recently many of the European colleagues have left the company. HR is very poor, and in most cases are very unhelpful. Team culture is quite low, especially if you do not speak Cantonese, it can take a very long time for people to work well with you. It is very hard to progress in your career once you are placed in a "grade" so make sure you feel you are going into a position that fits (with a bit of a stretch) for you to keep your job interesting and to grow.
