Pros

Definitely some great people working there.

Cons

At the time, the company was still focusing on people as to why productivity wasn't up versus looking at the broken processes that needed to be addressed.

Great growth potential, if you're able to get there...

Pros

Huge company with plenty of career paths to take. Tons of training and opportunity to grow. Work from home part of the time. Tuition assistance, great healthcare benefits, plenty of vacation time to start off with. Overall a decent place to work with great growth potential.

Cons

They seem to be constantly changing, which is a good and bad thing. There seems to be more and more layoffs lately, and it's getting harder to secure career paths without shortly finding out those positions are ending or moving without relocation benefits. Also seems to have a lot of nepotism among the management level which makes it hard to advance without being buddy-buddy with people.

Thanks for elaborating on your experience and involvement with and in our company. It does sound like there is a lot that you do enjoy about our working conditions and about the job in general. However it’s clear to me that you also have some feedback, our teams read these pages as well so it’ll get taken into account. In any case it’s great to hear about your ambition and I do wish you the best in your career with us from here on out.

Pros

Great leadership at their Netherlands offices, not so much, locally

Cons

Massive oversights in budgeting for the necessary resources to accomplish whats necessary to meet quality milestones. Engineers in SQA are faced with having to negotiate with the project teams to get the money they need to perform APQP, CPK, Gage and audits. No money was set aside for this and the work had to be done remotely. Money was available however for exotic European and costa rica trips for the manager/director and even trips home to work near the family on holidays. My performance was rated highly by my project team and I was very proud to deliver, despite having to beg for the funds to do the work. However, when I put in my 2 week notice, to told me to leave almost immediately, and with no pay. They also didn't finish my last expense report and it went 100+ days past due, causing me over 40 hours of personal time to negotiate with AmEx and my manager. Really poor showing all the way around and an incredibly disrespectful exit, again for someone rated highly by their work teams.
