      Pros

      Work life balance depending on project. Sodexo. Nothing much bad here is more than the good.

      Cons

      Managers are egoistic and rude. You can be laid off anytime. Philips promotes attrition and that too declares mass layoffs. No work at all they simply keep employee engaged in the name of remediation. Layoffs happened in usa. In India also . People here lack at technical competencies. Company job security is poor . Recommend not joining this at all.

      My boss is not very good and shows favoritism

      The pay is very good, but a lot of time I just want to quit without notice, log off my computer and walk away

      Cons

      I work for a boss who clearly shows favoritism. She allows her pets to shrug off work, to jump the line in the call queue, so they dont ever have to take calls. And she acknowledges their birthdays with much fanfare, emojis and giffs on teams, while the rest of us, the "hoy paloy" (thats how it makes me feel) never get any recognition.. That is the worst part. Being openly ignored... Nothing makes you feel like you are worthless, than a boss who treats you like you are worthless..

      Not worth it if you are working in Philips India

      Good number of leaves and employee discount on select Philips items

      Cons

      Working at Philips India often feels like being in the engine room of a massive cruise ship. While colleagues in the EU seem to enjoy a carefree fine dining experience, we, in the engine room, bear the brunt of project delays, working tirelessly on weekends and late nights. The result? Sometimes just a pat on the back and empty congratulatory messages. Additionally, the systems we work with can be frustratingly slow and prone to breakdowns during critical tasks. If you're seeking an environment that challenges your patience and potentially hampers your career growth, Philips India might be the right place for you.
