Pros

Working there I noticed people get promoted based on who they know so focus on the network and political game.

Cons

Company does not proactively align salary of long term employees to market. Annual raises marginal and barely cover for inflation (2-4% even if you have a stellar year) and the longer you are with them to quicker you dilute your pay since it quickly leads to being under market benchmarks. Responsibilities in role often grow without pay adjustment which is the price you pay for being a high performer... you're just expected to do more for less.
