Motorola Solutions reviews

No organization or direction. Everyone was always dealing with fire drills. Terrible work/life balance. Mandatory unpaid overtime despite being hourly to save the company money. There was no money for overtime or raises despite Motorola Solutions having double digit profit before the pandemic. The manager had an “inner circle” that did little work but were protected by the manager. Poor low level management with no technical or management experience. The manager created a toxic work environment. Promises were made to customers that were not kept. HR was rumored to fire “troublesome” employees. Poor benefits. Poor training. Regular layoffs. Backstabbing coworkers.

Raises and promotions are extremely difficult to come by; I didn't receive a single raise in 4.5+ years. I was told many excuses, and even promised raises and market corrections; but there was always some excuse why they didn't come through. Other local companies are offering over 50% more salary for the same position than I am making at Motorola with similar or identical benefits.
