The work I do is engaging, technically challenging, and its great knowing the projects I work on have real world impact. The team culture is one of the best parts of the job; everyone is friendly, approachable, and happy to share their knowledge. There is strong support for professional growth with plenty of opportunities to develop and take on new responsibilities. The work-life balance is good due to flexible hours and ability to work from home.

Cons

Things can move a bit slowly due to internal processes and the nature of the defence industry.
