      Pros

      - The team: Positive, good work ethic - Opportunities to grow - Recognition for hard work - Location / Beautiful work environment

      Cons

      Some might not like how our rapid growth means you need to be flexible, but I personally like that, so it depends on your style. You are also expected to work hard, but you know you are in good company so it feels fair.

The quick growth we experience certainly comes with challenges, and it has required us to be extra adaptable.       Amazing workplace, culture, people, opportunities, everything.

      Pros

      -Amazing people, very friendly and welcoming. People are always willing to help and better everyone else's employee experience. -Work environment is very impressive. Good location, free food, coffee and bagels 24/7. Offices are very very nice. Very tech company style. -Benefits are very robust AND they are always improving, never stagnating. They try to think about families, single parents, etc. -Health coverage from day 1 ! -Crazy growth year after year so many opportunities will come your way if you put in effort. -Very diversity-oriented, promotes gender equality and equity, communication and team-work. -Organizational structure is as flat as possible : everyone is approachable. -Salary is very good, but the perks weight in a lot as well. -Apps to get access to doctors or medical advice faster

      Cons

      -Some growing pains can sometimes be identified, BUT at least they ARE identified and addressed as best possible.

      Work hard, play hard company

      Pros

      The environment is amazing and I have established some incredible relationships with colleagues and the leadership team. You need to know what you’re signing up for and it’s not a 9-5 job... but a company like Lightspeed that has raised funding like this and is on a path to IPO, it’s not realistic to expect that. The salaries and commissions are beyond fair and you need to understand what you are becoming a part of. We are a rocket ship and need humble, hard-working people that are smart enough to see any position at Lightspeed as major opportunity.

      Cons

      Yes the hours can be long, but HR makes that clear in the interview process. You choose your path in life and yes, you will work dam hard... but working a boring 9-5 is not for everyone and Lightspeed will be sure to always keep you pushing personal and professional boundaries. We are not perfect... but after years of experience in large corporations, we’ve got it dam good here!
