      They think people are generally stupid

      They are a Canadian company

      They mislead and trick you about the role during interview and hold back very key information: like you have to request a day off on stat holidays or else you have to work. You literally sit by your computer and wait for a phone to ring. You can’t prospect your own business. There are not enough leads for the number of employees hence, they would rather pay measly 50k base salaries then commissions. They manipulate you to think you have control of this so either you bribe an SA for more leads, hope your manager feels sorry for you enough to route business to you, or rather the chance to have business. They don’t care about their customers and their product offerings are garbage.

While we do require some coverage on statutory holidays for Account Executives it is on a volunteer basis and not mandatory. We also ensure that our leaders are available to support Account Executives to manage their lead stream.       Amazing co - best department

      Pros

      Lightspeed is an excellent co to work for - there are so many growth opportunities! The department I work in I s like a family I absolutely love my team.

      Cons

      RTO is hard as I work with Australia at night so coming in all week and working late at night is much less flexible than when I’m home but our exec is amazing and I love working alongside her so we’ll make the RTO a success!
