Hard work!

Pros

Good pay, some of the staff are lovely, nice customers at times.

Cons

Managers have no respect for new employees. Rota is always messed up and hours change in an instant. Some Former employees try and blame their wrong doings on the new starters. No training at all, they are supposed to follow a training plan. No bakery or till training, just doing deliveries and lifting heavy loads on a daily basis which are way too heavy for me to lift.

Senior Manager - Lidl U.S.

Pros

Definitely a lot of challenging and interesting work

Cons

Very few people in leadership positions have done business in the U.S. before, and they are trying to shoehorn their German processes into everything. They market themselves as a start-up, but employees have very little power to do anything to make necessary changes for running a successful business in this country. The communication between the U.S. and Germany is poor.
