Pros

Lunch, Medibank, happy hours. I'd recommend working here, as long as you're not in the sales team.

Cons

I absolutely loved indeed it was the best job for years, unfortunately Indeed made a poor decision jumping to a sales model built for established markets within a very new market. My salary and earning potential was cut in half after the change and there was nothing left for me. International HR suggested we should have spoken to HR before leaving to voice concerns, I had three separate meetings with HR regarding a particular issue however absolutely nothing was done. The HR team is incompetent. Upper management is delusional, and managers and sales reps are left to suffer their poor choices.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your review. As we’ve always mentioned, our HR teams are all here for our employees, through thick and thin. Australia, being one of our newer markets where we are the challenger, has come with a unique set of obstacles, which we are optimistic we will work through together as a team. But we recognise we are not there yet, and still have many learnings and growth opportunities ahead of us. That’s why feedback from employees like yourself is important to make sure we’re doing everything we can to better support our staff, and we’re very disappointed you felt as though your concerns were not taken onboard by our local teams. We’d like to hear more from you so we can better access the situation. If you are comfortable, please email inside@indeed.com to have a confidential conversation with our global Employer Brand team.

Pros

Lunch on Wednesday Breakfast Daily Snacks Health Insurance

Cons

Disappointing, I use to love coming into work everyday, and always bragged to my mates about what an awesome company Indeed was, and how lucky I was to work there. Recently, majority of the sales people who added real value to the sales teams, have left. Majority of them taught me how to pitch and be successful in the role. I am aware that none of them wanted to leave, however because of the terrible pay(below market standards) and poor culture they had no choice. Feedback: HR ask us to provide feedback constantly, however when questioned about some of the recent resignations and poor conditions in which we are working, it is simple brushed off. In all my years of working in sales in Australia, they are by far the most inexperience/incompetent HR team, I have worked with. Senior management expect the world from you, when no one is earning comms or a bonus. Everyone is trying as hard as they can but the targets/expectations are unrealistic for this market. Whats worst, is you have people who use to be proud to say they worked here, leaving the company with a very bad outlook of Indeed. I myself, have started looking and I know many others have too.

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to share a review. We’re sorry to read about your experience with us, and that you feel your feedback hasn’t been taken onboard by our local leadership teams. Our HR teams are there to help employees throughout their career with us. A big priority for them is to make sure all feedback received from staff, be it through surveys or in-person, are taken onboard, with action plans put in place where appropriate to help continuously improve us as an employer. We don’t want anyone to feel marginalised or devalued at Indeed, and the views and voices of all employees matter. Please reach out to our training or employee experience teams for further support. They are there to help you navigate your career with us, and would be more than happy to help you figure out your next steps within Indeed.

Pros

Work-life balance and workplace environment.

Cons

No one oversees operations. Departments fight with one another over projects, data systems don't sync, salesforce.com doesn't work, new product reporting is laughable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience about working at Indeed. We do value your feedback and take your comments very seriously. Indeed was excited to launch several new products in 2018. Feedback between teams about what is working - and what needs to be improved - has been an integral part of those launches. As such, Indeed has taken several recent steps to attain more alignment between our Product and Sales teams. We hope the benefits of these enhancements are already being felt by the teams or will be soon. We are definitely open to feedback and in addition to sharing your experience here we encourage you to share your feedback and experience with your direct manager.
