Pros

- Awesome culture code (that inspires lot of other companies now) - Awesome customer centric products and services that people love - One of the fastest growing tech companies Worldwide, Europe included (huge career opportunities) - Autonomy in taking decisions and actions that impact directly internally and for the business - Fast career development in fast paced environment - Individual/human consideration despite a 1000+ company size

Cons

- It's an involving and demanding experience which may not be for everyone but in the sales environment there is no secret between key inputs and corresponding outputs.

Thanks for a super thoughtful review--one of my favorite parts was your comment that we are keeping an individual/human consideration in spite of growth. It's imperative we continue to get that right, so if you have specific things you think we have done well or could improve on there, sign me up to help do more of them, thanks again for sharing your thoughts! -Katie Burke

Culture Rules All

Pros

The culture here at HubSpot is awesome. You are empowered to make your own decisions so long as you "use good judgement". That's phrase that gets thrown around a lot and management means it. It guides pretty much everything we do here. It allows us to have fun so long as we all get our work done. Oh and the work itself is really fun. I support the sales org and I love the people I work with

Cons

We've grown fast so not everything is as organized as I would love it, and there is a lot of work to do on a day to day basis. There are some small signs of becoming a bigger company (less cross-team collaboration for example) but steps are actively being taken to mitigate these.

I love that you said "the work itself is really fun," I agree-I feel lucky to work here every day, so glad to hear you do too. We definitely need more work on how to make cross-team collaboration even easier; if you have ideas on them let's talk about them, would love your input! -Katie Burke

Growth & Transparency

Pros

The growth here is real, you are constantly learning something new and working with individuals of different positions in different departments which makes for an amazing learning experience. The work/life balance is also a huge win - people respect that you have lives outside of work and that respect makes you work even harder.

Cons

Sometimes you have a ton of projects to work on at once and it seems overwhelming but it is a great challenge and you have endless amounts of resources and individuals who are happy to help.

Thank you for your review--I think one thing that's clear is we can do a better job of helping people figure out how to juggle multiple projects on their own, so more to follow there on how to tackle that--thank you for your input, and so glad to hear you're enjoying the benefits of radical transparency--I agree that it's one of the things that makes HubSpot remarkable as we scale, so keep us honest about maintaining it! -Katie Burke
