Pros

The culture is amazing, the learning and growth opportunities are endless, and the people are great. Management is awesome. They try to know everyone by name and do a really great job of keeping tabs on the state of the office and the product. And since they have such an ear to the ground approach, they are always open to suggestions and questions.

Cons

Housing! It was so hard to find housing for 6 months, especially since I knew nothing about the area. HubSpot, please do something to make sure your coops have housing!

I love our co-op program, and am so deeply appreciative that you took the time to write a review, thank you for doing it! I'm delighted to hear you value the learning aspect of life at HubSpot, and that you feel management is in touch with and open to feedback, we work really hard at that, so I'm always really happy to hear when it rings true to employees. We absolutely need to keep an eye on housing, particularly in Cambridge and Dublin, so thank you for the push on that front, and for all of your hard work as a co-op, I deeply appreciate it. Hope you're having a great break and that you're considering rejoining the team in 2017! -Katie

Pros

* Great perks: free hot breakfast/lunch, beer on tap, lovely offices, health, dental, stock... etc. * Great colleagues: most people are friendly, helpful and open. * Room for career progression: they're pretty helpful in trying to get you to the next level. * Autonomy: "unlimited" holidays, the ability to work from home, flexible hours... etc. Just get the job done!

Cons

* Work/life balance: they hire overachievers and so the culture is a bit of a workaholic one. However, it can be manages if you're good with time management and saying no.

Thanks for the review and for helping our team in DubSpot grow--I'm incredibly proud of what the team has built there and grateful for all you do to make that happen. I agree that we hire high achieving folks, but hope you heard JD's mention Monday at the company that our goal is always to hire folks who work hard but also have interesting and dynamic lives outside of work, so keep us honest about continuing that balance. Keep up the great work and thanks again for your work and the review! -Katie

Pros

Intelligent employees, brand recognition helps in sales, fun environment and a great launching pad for a software career. Fun environment and definitely easier to appreciate for younger members of the work force.

Cons

Don't quite drink their own cool-aid as much as they say regarding marketing and sales processes. Training has become a bit outdated for their product and market. Clearly I'm really picking to find cons.

Thanks for your review and for helping companies grow with HubSpot on our sales team. We will definitely not lose our dedication to transparency (hopefully you feel the work we've put into Spotlights and company meetings of late) and will take your feedback on training into account as we grow and expand for next year--thank you for your input! -Katie
