Pros

Free food, young environment, good location, great salary.

Cons

Targets unrealistic - need to be addressed Poor management - little to no training/support when people are below target Training in Boston is torture - worse than a month in prison Drink their own kool-aid - brainwashed It's like the Wild Wild West in there - robbing leads etc. Holidays.. very hard to get.. c'mon guys.. people need a BREAK! even when they are underperforming I could go on forever....

Sorry to hear that your experience at HubSpot was less than ideal on a number of levels, and particularly that you didn't feel you got the support you needed and wanted to grow your sales career. My hope is that we have improved upon that since you left, but we are always working on improving and iterating on the employee experience, so if you have additional feedback or comments please email them my way, would love to learn how we can do better here moving forward. Even though this was tough to read, appreciate you sharing the feedback with us, we'll use to continue to improve. Sincerely, Katie

Pros

After going on many interviews with a lot of companies I must say that the process with Hubspot has been the most positive/rewarding. Everyone I spoke to (8+ people) were so kind and really seemed to love the company and their job. The company offers unlimited vacation days and a positive environment filled with candy walls, video games, and beer on tap. HR is completely transparent throughout the process and very compassionate especially when being compared to that of other companies. Overall I would recommend Hubspot to any passionate individual who is interested in marketing, technology, and working with smart, driven individuals.

Cons

If you do not live in the Cambridge/Portsmouth areas it may be hard to relocate.

Thanks for the review, and for choosing to join our team--support is a critical part of our success, and we're delighted you chose to join the team. Right now, folks do choose to relocate to our offices, but we are currently evaluating relocation options and potential remote working options long-term so that this is a less considerable hurdle. Thanks so much for the feedback and look forward to hearing about your growth at HubSpot! -Katie

Pros

Great work life balance and strong management at the top. Awesome product touching various parts of the marketing funnel. People help each other across departments willingly.

Cons

Some issues with rapidly growing sales team. Lots of switching of managers and territories can cause friction. VAR / Partner team struggling to work deals with HubSpot internal sales teams.

Sorry, I missed this one when I was in Tokyo--my apologies. We are working hard to ensure we take advantage of the potential with the sales products and that we ensure alignment between direct and channel, so more to follow there--thanks for sharing the review and feedback, and for helping our prospects and customers grow. Sincerely, Katie
