Pros

You can earn a small hourly salary and with yearly work reviews, small raises are given.

Cons

HQ tries cut back on number of hours given each employee, therefore more work is piled onto each employee, expecting every person to give 150% in a minimum number of hours because the corporation does not want to hire more people as to save costs and earn upper management bonuses.

Pros

The staff is great and has a genuine family feel. Many customers are great and understanding while shopping. The company shows appreciation as much as it can with parties and celebrations.

Cons

Expectation that everyone hired has open availability and nothing going on in their personal lives. Limited ability to help customers with problems and questions. Some customer interactions make employees feel like a punching bag.

Pros

Coworkers (excluding management), breaks, sometimes merchandise

Cons

No consistency in policies or procedures, overbearing managers, managers make excessive exceptions which creates confusion between customers and employees, little to no incentives for exceeding goals, poor employee engagement, false promises of promotion/advancement, very poor pay, revolving door for management due to District Manager
