      So far so good but plenty of room for improvement

      Pros

      A positive can do attitude by everyone, including leadership. Excellent offices So far good open communication Flexible work hours, good work/life balance, an attitude of "get your stuff done and go home"

      Cons

      Typical of a new company that formed from 2 old companies. A few examples Scale: There are still internal processes that do not fit a company this size. Title inflation/top heavy: Post merger all hiring outside of sales seems to be at director and VP levels, not enough individual contributors to execute and get the job done. Titles are still completely out of whack, even at the attempt to level Strategy/decisions still seem to be made in Boston and sent out. With the concentration of leadership there, it makes sense, however it is tough to feel involved if you are not in Boston Career advancement if you are outside of Boston and not in sales? The impression I have thus far from the new LogMeIn, if you are outside of Santa Barbara or Boston you simply will not be involved enough to make an impression and advance in your career. While promotion decisions should be based on performance only, those of us in the real world also understand relationships matter

      Good to explore yourself, best place to enhance your work here without any hesitation, do whatever you can do with your own initiative

      Sometimes it's hard to manage work pressure with career and family

We work to empower our employees to solve problems their way and take on projects that are important to them. The pressure you speak of is felt across the organization. We are three months from the merger being finalized, and this pressure is short lived as we bring two companies together.       Pros

      Great company to work with all the benefits you would expect from a company that size.

      Cons

      As the company grew so much sometime things can get a little "corporate" but overall there is a big effort within most employees to not become a cold corp.
