Thank you for saying a few words about the 6 plus years you've been working at Philips in London. It's good to hear that you appreciate the company culture and that you also consider the freedom and control you have over your work a plus. That you're missing a certain level of flexibility towards working parents and that your career with us so far hasn't been as rewarding as it should have been, is of course regrettable, as we believe in creating a workplace with unbound opportunities and we want our people to be able to maintain a healthy balance between work and their personal life. We recognise there is always room for improvement and will make sure that your points of feedback are noted. If you'd like to further discuss these, then we would encourage you to schedule a meeting with your manager or HR representative. Thank you again for the review. We're glad to have you supporting us in our mission.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
