Gosh! I'd love to know more details about what team you were working on. It sounds like an isolated experience based on what I know and hear about our company. Hope you landed in a good place and are on to your next adventure.

DO NOT WORK AT THIS TOXIC PLACE

Pros

None. This place is really toxic.

Cons

Horrible working conditions. No place to breath or grow. Management does not know the one thing they are hired to do. Manage people effectively. If you work here it’s a very toxic “sales bro culture” you will be worked to the bone with little to no additional pay. Don’t do it.

Pros

- great people, hands down - free food in office for 2 days out of the week - good work life balance for the most part - pretty great benefits

Cons

Used to be an amazing company, brilliant talent, collaborative and buzzing office, with leaders that cared so deeply about the people and company. Previous leaders may not have made the best decisions, but you could tell they cared about the employees and that went a long way. Current leadership wants folks in the office but can’t even take a moment to walk the floors and say hello. I loved Docusign and always imagined I’d have a much longer career there. The executive leadership team and all their VPs made it a really difficult place to be in the end. There is no vision, north star, or even shared goals amongst the leadership team and it is very apparent. Surveys are a sham because no action is ever taken on the tough feedback. Why ask if you won’t even try to do anything about it? No one is thinking about the customer, just internal politics and what they think is right for themselves. What was once a vibrant culture has turned into a toxic one with employees constantly on edge or feeling demotivated. Marketing is like the wild west. The leaders have no idea what they’re doing and are just shooting in the dark while not understanding the business or what enterprise marketing truly means. Bring PLG and sales together, not continue to create the divide..
