Pros

Decent benefits and pay. Can be rewarding depending on engineering team alignment.

Cons

Lots of strange politics to further personal career aspirations vs focus on growing and optimizing the business. I've seen VP levels back stab each other for petty reasons (disrespected, slighted, etc) which in turn caused MANY capable people to lose their jobs over multiple layoffs over the past couple of years. Petty arguments and grandstanding and a joke of executive leadership (including the board) after Dan Springer's departure. Come aboard if you need a job, but don't expect any job security.
