Pros

The compensation is good. Most of the people I worked with are great. The office has a good environment, provides plenty of snacks and drinks with a nice view of the bay bridge.

Cons

There was no work/life balance for me personally. It's what you can expect from a startup. I usually work till 11pm before I had to leave to catch my ride home. The company had suck the life out of me.

Thanks for writing this review. We have worked on the work/life balance and think you'd find it a different place today from when you wrote this review 2 years ago. Best of luck to you.

No sales leadership

Pros

Great product, many great people

Cons

A complete lack of sales leadership. Reps do things that are clearly not in the best interest of the company, just of their sales goals, and this is constantly supported by Inside Sales management, to the detriment of the company and DocuSign Partners.

Since you wrote this almost 3 years ago, I think you'd agree that this has really changed since we have added experienced leaders like Neil, Chris etc. It certainly is paying off so something must be working.

Pros

- Payment is reasonably aligned with seniority - Plenty of learning opportunities for junior candidates

Cons

- The most incompetent managers and directors per square metre I’ve ever seen. - Bloated organization, full of mid management fat actively working against engineering trying to optimize products and services, fearing loss of their mediocre positions. - Needless push to RTO, even if all employee’s meetings are via zoom, showing complete disregard towards one’s time, health and overall wellbeing. - All the pointless politics that technical roles get exposed constantly is tiring and counterproductive
