Pros

Come on..... not much to note on the pros side.... oh maybe the benefits and the view. Oh, and a lot of friendly and enjoyable co-workers.

Cons

Childish and inexperienced leadership, arrogant beyond imagination, boring product, sales are actually more p.o. takers (not a hard product to sell and not very strategic.... definitely not a solution sale). If you are "child" with little ambition, you may actually enjoy DocuSign. This can kill your career growth if you are hoping to get into a true technology sales role after leaving DocuSign -- I don't think true technology companies will consider the "telesales" experience very transferable in the marketplace… Not a good stepping stone.

I hope that in the past two years since you wrote this review that your situation has improved or that you have found your next great adventure. I personally am inspired by the experience and focus of our leadership, the product can have a huge financial impact on a company and it's so gratifying to use. However, I respect that we all can have very different opinions. Best to you!

Pros

Some of the most steller, hard working sales people I've seen in this industry. I've learned so much from the individual mentors that made this place amazing when they were still a young company.

Cons

Management. Lies. I was there when there was only about 70 employees. Things were real. People worked hard. Company flourished. New management settles in, culture shifts - HQ moves to SF, no one knows. Sales teams get decimated... and it goes on and on. So many good people were pushed out only to be replaced with a bunch of people with no relavant skills. Just buddies from previous companies parachuting in to ruin families. Personally, I try to give my two weeks notice and was simply pushed out - got ripped off in payment that was due. Etc. When you have former employees suing you, this clearly isn't the right place to be at. I've had people I don't even know find me and call me on my phone, long after I left. Literally crying about how unfair their manager was treating them. The product and some people are really hard working here, but all the politics and power struggle between the management team has ripped this place apart.

Pros

Great product, many great people

Cons

A complete lack of sales leadership. Reps do things that are clearly not in the best interest of the company, just of their sales goals, and this is constantly supported by Inside Sales management, to the detriment of the company and DocuSign Partners.

Since you wrote this almost 3 years ago, I think you'd agree that this has really changed since we have added experienced leaders like Neil, Chris etc. It certainly is paying off so something must be working.
