Great culture and brand, mediocre structure and benefits.

Pros

DocuSign overall has a great culture. In general, you can speak your mind, and even send Dan an email. DocuSign as a brand is amazing, when you tell people you work here, without fail they will tell you how much they love it.

Cons

As DocuSign is still in startup mode, there is a lot of understaffing, and quite a few departments where the leaders have outgrown the small company it was 4-5 years ago. Benefits are not yet there, though there have been promises made to ramp those up after IPO.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Interesting thoughts on the org structure and titles. Please share that idea with your HR Business Partner and/or our new Chief People Officer, Joan Burke, who you should feel comfortable emailing as well. She is very open.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. OK -- wow, I want to know more regarding your integrity comment. Hoping you can bubble up more specifics as to where you see this lacking so we can address it. Some channels to consider: talking to your HR Business Partner, submitting a question in advance anonymously for All Hands via the pre-meeting survey we send out, making a comment in the post All Hands survey. That is something we need to address pronto.

Pros

Too many to be listed, here is a few... - Organic fruits/healthy snacks & drinks all day - Great company culture - Work with many bright individuals - Lots of learning opportunity, fast growing - Excellent work life balance (eg. allow IT employees to work from home on Fridays) - Good office location, easy commute (1 min walk from the bus terminal & 8 mins walk from the Ferry building) - Most importantly, we have a great product which everyone knows about and loves. The company has a bright future) - excellent health benefits (employee does not pay for any health insurance(dental/health/vision) premium, it's all free)

Cons

- Lack of 401 k matching - No clear process is in place for employees to request personal development/training/educational budget - It will be nice to have a job rotation program

Great review. Thanks for sharing so many details. Re 401K match, Dan says it is a priority post-IPO. Re training, learning & development is a big priority for our new Chief People Officer, Joan Burke. So stay tuned. I think you will see some traction on this one.
