Pros

Small company allows for everyone to pitch in their own ideas. There are no glass ceilings as the company is always hungry for hard workers with great ideas! When I am ill, or a family is, I can work from home instead of having to use my PTO. They are more than willing to accommodate my schedule so I can go to doctors appointments or receive packages at home as well

Cons

Feels there could be better communication between different departments

I too have found the culture very empathetic regarding accommodating for medical appointments etc. And very glad to hear that you feel you can serve up ideas in Customer Support. As to communicating between departments, can you serve up a question like that via our All Hands call for questions survey and be specific about which departments? We'd love to hear more about how we can crack that specific nut. Or talk to Ella Dillon directly.

Pros

DocuSign is a place where there are unsolved problems that you'll be able to tackle. One of the best things about DocuSign is that nearly everyone around you is motivated to do a good job. Dan (new-ish CEO) has been doing a good job of transitioning the company from a very sales driven culture to one that has more balance in how things are prioritized.

Cons

If you are at all involved in trying to improve back end processes, you will eventually run into the frustration of trying the get anything done with our Enterprise Apps or Business Intelligence teams, who have a backlog so large that nearly nothing but what top level leadership has their eyes on gets done.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Very interesting comments regarding Enterprise Apps and Business Intelligence teams. Hope you can spend some time with Michael Erisman or Tom Casey. They both seem very open to figuring out ways to help the wider team be more productive.
