Pros

The people here are the BEST - DocuSign does an amazing job recruiting top talent and creating an easy atmosphere for great collaboration to occur.

Cons

The pay - out of all the tech companies out there the compensation is the lowest I have heard of.

Pros

- Easy, quick onboarding process. From initial phone interview to start date took 1.5 months, this was fast in comparison to recruiting processes I have gone through with other employers. I was sent to Discovering DocuSign in Seattle and fully on-boarded with dashboards/tools/training within 4 weeks. - Recurring company-wide, large team, and small team meetings/happy hours and lunches. Strong sense of connection to the larger organization. - Communication and open dialogue with employees about future visions and planning for the company. CEO, CMO, Head of Sales, and Chief Product Officer host town hall meetings and open Q&A for employees worldwide to ask about the proposed direction for the product. - Periodic rewards and call-outs for high performers on teams - Great offices! Fun places to work in convenient, beautiful locations.

Cons

- As the company grows larger, teams struggle to define roles and responsibilities clearly as well as understand who to work with cross-functionally. - Syncing the third-party communication platforms used internally can be a challenge.

Thank you for writing such a thoughtful detailed review. This really helps job candidates get a sense of what it's like to work here and if it's for them. Glad you like the Shout Out awards and the All Hands Q&A ... and that you feel a strong sense of connection to the larger org. (I do, too.) And thanks for your feedback re defining roles. With a new CEO and CSO/CMO on board, there has been a bit of flux and redefining. They say change is constant in fast-growing companies but it has increased even for DocuSign. It's all good. But it has felt like a lot and a lot of roles have been recently refined. Good point about IT and I think the IT strategy team is working on ironing that out. (They sent around a survey a few months ago focused on exactly that.)
